João Antunes Jr. is a Brazilian artist who graduated in digital multimedia with postgraduate studies in film and animation. Since 2010, he has built a career as a self-taught illustrator, creating dystopian and sci-fi worlds that merge humanity, horror, and robotics. Influenced by Jean Giraud “Moebius,” Geof Darrow, Masamune Shirow, Watson Portela, and works like Blade Runner and Ghost in the Shell, he also directs animation projects and has created three award-winning short films: Digisexdreams, Sparkblade, and Crosstar Void.
